Press Release For Immediate Release 23 October 2003 Arrival of David Ashby set to boost Bloodstock account Amlin plc the leading Lloyd’s insurance group, today announced the arrival of David Ashby to head its fast developing bloodstock account. As a key part of this expansion drive, Amlin has also established a new service company, Amlin Plus, to support the business. David Ashby joins Amlin from QBE International Insurance where he was lead Bloodstock Underwriter for over eight years. Amlin currently underwrites £9 million of bloodstock business a year and the account has grown substantially over the last two years. The arrival of David Ashby and the launch of Amlin Plus, which has been operational since August, will create a stronger presence in this niche market. To mark this significant development in its Bloodstock account Amlin is also sponsoring leading jockey Richard Quinn, who now sports the Amlin Plus logo on his breeches (picture attached).
