MTM Special Ops Watch, as Worn by Jack Bauer in the New Series of 24, Officially Released on Monday 28
Available directly from exclusive distributor to the UK and Ireland - SpecialOpsWatches.co.uk
Press Dispensary - November 22, 2005 - The MTM Special Ops Watch is a limited production military timepiece designed to
fulfil a specification from US Special Forces. Previously only available to the American market, from Monday 28 November,
2005, the MTM Special Ops Watch will be available in the UK and Ireland exclusively from http://
Proven in the field, the MTM Special Ops Watch is now the timepiece of choice worn by Agent Jack Bauer in the hit TV series,
24. Jack, played by Keifer Sutherland, is the lead character and has chosen to wear the Blackhawk model of the Special Ops
Watch throughout the filming of the much anticipated Season Five.
A design classic, the MTM Special Ops Watch has many advanced features. Three separate dial modes allow the watch to be
seen and read even under the most adverse conditions. The external light mode is the brightest ever on a watch and is
invaluable in the event of a blackout or low light level map reading. This tri-light system, designed for use in emergency
situations, can be seen as far as a mile away.
The entire watch case is manufactured from a solid block of stainless steel and the locking case back and screw down crown
assure water resistance to a depth of 330 feet (100 metres). The crystal is tempered and scratch resistant, and the dial
itself is composed of carbon fibre for shock resistance. Customers can choose from the brushed stainless steel
'Thunderhawk' model or the black ion-plated 'Blackhawk' model.
With the MTM Special Ops Watch, there's no need to worry about battery replacement. It is powered by a rechargeable
lithium-ion battery with an electro magnetic induction charging pod included. The watch is the world's first LED light watch
with a recharging system. Weighing in at 7oz (200g), both the Thunderhawk and Blackhawk watches will make a statement
of strength and dependability for many demanding years to come.
The cost of both models is £289.95 from http://www.specialopswatches.co.uk .
Soon to follow from MTM is the Special Ops Xtreme Diver - the world's first fully waterproof diving watch with depth
resistance measured in fathoms not feet. Application is pending for entry into Guinness Book of Records for the title of the
world's strongest, deepest diving watch.
