we request you to kindly modify this clause in
line with NIT eligibility criterion / Section 2

## Ethernet media convertor shall be located in the customer permises and
connected to 100 base FX interface of the SDH equipment through G.652
SMS. The fast ethernet code on the EMC shall be 10/100 Base T auto sense
port. 100 Base FX of STM-4 equipment shall also be able drive for minimum 2
Kms on G.652 single Mode Fibre. All the ADMs / Regs. have to be supplied
with two optical aggregates.

1. Section IV Clause 12 (i) is modified as given below:
“ The bidder must supply equipment, which is type approved against the TEC GR No.
GR/SDH-04/02 MAR 2002 with amendment 1 to 4 for Long Haul applications for STM-1
equipment and against the TEC GR No. GR/SDH-13/01 JUL 2003 with amendment No.1 for
STM-1 CPE for Long Haul applications read along with tender conditions”.
The type approval certificate obtained from TEC New Delhi or the TSEC obtained
from QA circle BSNL Bangalore shall only be acceptable against the above specification
along with tender conditions.
Additional Clarification :
1. Section IV Clause 35 ( C) : As per clause 2.2 of Annexure-I, PBG needs to be submitted
two months before expiry of the warranty, while clause 35(C ) requires three months before
expiry of warrantee. . The clause 35(C) stands amended as per clause 2.2 of annexure-I
