Each tile is notched on the back for hanging, or is
available framed in quartersawn oak. Check our order
form for all available frame sizes and pricing, and see
page 15 for frame design details. We are always on the
lookout for attractive display easels that suit our tile.

The Motawi Tileworks was founded in 1992
when Nawal set up a table at a farmers market
and was commissioned to create her first local
fireplace installation. Today, our handcrafted
tile can be found in homes nationwide.
                                                            William Joseph “Dard” Hunter was an early
                                                            20th Century artist, designer, illustrator and the
                                                            world’s foremost authority on the history and
                                                            craft of papermaking. Dard Hunter Studios is
                                                            owned and operated by our good friend Dard
                                                            Hunter iii who is dedicated to raising awareness
                                                            of his grandfather’s remarkable career. The
                                                            Studio, located at the family’s historic Mountain
                                                            House in Chillicothe, Ohio, offers an extensive
                                                            line of handmade products and books based on
                                                            Dard Hunter’s original work.
