					Update #1
502 Security and Risk Management Toolbox

You will need to copy the entire Toolbox to you computer to fix the files. Once
you have done this you can choose how you’d like to update your Toolbox.
    Replace files – simply replace the files with issues with an updated
      file.
      or
    Make the edits yourself using the detailed description of issues –
      preferred by people with HTML knowledge and those who have already
      made changes to the original product

Replace files
To update your copy of the Toolbox:
   1. Download and save the ‘502_patch.zip’
   2. Unzip the file so you can see the file it contains ‘406_intr.htm’.
   3. Using Windows Explorer or similar view your copy of the Toolbox so
      you can see the folders it contains
   4. Open the folder ‘Manager_Office’.
   5. Copy and paste the file ‘406_intr.htm’ into this folder. If prompted to
      replace, click ‘Yes’.

Detailed description of issues

 File Ref: 406A - Monitor and review operations at:
/Manager_Office/406_intr.htm

There is currently a formatting inconsistency with the 406A - Monitor and
review operations file. To fix this, you will need to replace some HTML code.
Follow the simple steps below:

1. Use a html editor to change the code as shown at 3, or use a browser to
   open the file located at …/Manager_Office/406_intr.htm which looks like
   this:

flexiblelearning.net.au
Inconsistent
formatting
compared with
other pages.

 2. Right click on this page and select "view source". The page will look like
    this:
            (Section highlighted represents replacement one.)

                                    …and this:
                (Section highlighted represents replacement two.)

3. Find and change the HTML code from:

Replacement one:

<link rel="stylesheet" href="../alt_fonts.css">

With

<link rel="stylesheet" href="../fonts.css">

Replacement two:

<tr>
   <td width="13" height="18" colspan="1" valign="top"><img
src="../images/spacer.gif"></td>
   <td valign="top" bordercolor="#336699" bgcolor="#336699"
class="header">
    <div align="left">406A - Monitor and review operations<span
class="textblue">
      </span></div>
   </td>
   <td valign="bottom" bordercolor="#336699" bgcolor="#336699"
class="link3" width="100" height="50"><a
href="../word%20docs/learner%20guides/406%20-
%20Introduction%20to%20unit.doc" target="_blank" class="textblue">
    Learner guide</a></td>
 </tr>

flexiblelearning.net.au
With

<tr>
   <td width="13" height="18" colspan="1" valign="top"><img
src="../images/spacer.gif"></td>
   <td valign="top" bordercolor="#336699" bgcolor="#336699"
class="header">
    <div align="left">406A - Monitor and review operations </div>
  </td>
  <td valign="bottom" bordercolor="#336699" bgcolor="#336699" class="header"><a
href="../word%20docs/learner%20guides/406%20-
%20Introduction%20to%20unit.doc" target="_blank" class="textblue">Learner
    guide</a></td>
 </tr>

4. Save the file change. The format should now be consistent with other
   pages.

NB If the file appears not to have changed, try refreshing the screen.
If the file cannot be saved the properties of the file could be set to 'read-only'
or it may be located on a web server or CD-ROM. In these cases you may
need to save the file to your hard drive, reset the file properties if required and
make the html changes shown at 3, then copy back to the web server of burn
back to the CD-ROM.

Spelling error in HTML page code:

It appears also that the some HTML code ie "Flash interface intoduces this
unit." at the bottom of the page in HTML view mode contains a spelling error
"intoduce" which may need to be replaced throughout the toolbox.

We recommend that you burn a copy of the amended Toolbox to keep as a
master copy.

If you have any further enquiries or need advice on your Toolbox please email
our national help desk on toolboxhelp@flexiblelearning.net.au or phone 1300
736 710.
