Minimum Requirement
Applicant must be at least 16 years of age at time of application. Applicant between 16 to 20 is not entitled to IDD & Auto-roaming services.
Deposit
We may require you to provide a deposit in respect of our service(s). The deposit could be used to offset, including but not limited to, any outstanding charges under any of your accounts. Subject to the above, your deposit will be returned to you without interest after you terminate this Agreement and settle all outstanding charges or claims brought by us if you have breached this Agreement. I accept and acknowledge receipt of a 3G Sim Card, for Subscription to any 3G Services. In additions, I agree to pay for all 3G services used (if any). If your Lucky / Auction number is free, you are required to pay a levy when you transfer your M1 Lucky / Auction number to SingTel / StarHub. The levy will be based on the value of your Lucky / Auction number as ticked in the box overleaf. If you transfer the Lucky / Auction number to another person, the transferee will be required to pay the levy when he / she transfers this Lucky / Auction number to SingTel / StarHub.. In the event you terminate your subscription of Lucky / Auction number with M1 or M1 terminates its service to you in accordance to M1’s General Terms & Conditions, M1 shall have the right to release the Lucky / Auction number without refund to you. Post office boxes are not acceptable. No overseas address is allowed. Only NRIC address (i.e no alternate billing address) is allowed for applicant below 21 years of age. The bill must be sent to address on customer’s NRIC. Foreigner must complete both the local billing address and the residential address. Your residential address is the address on your identity card. For foreigners, it is your local office address. For locals, you must fill in both your local billing address and residential address if they are not the same. Proof of billing address from Work Permit and Student Pass holders is compulsory at point of registration.

SUMMARY OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This is only a summary of M1’s terms and conditions. A copy of the full terms and conditions is available on M1’s website and upon request. 1 You will be connected to the basic M1 service within 4 hours of your application. 2 You may terminate our service by calling our Customer Service Hotline 1627, by faxing or writing to us and giving us 1 day’s prior notice. However if you terminate your mobile service within the first 3 months from the date of commencement of service (“Initial Period”), you will have to pay for subscription for the whole of the Initial Period based on our non-promotional rate. Separate and additional early termination penalties and charges for specific services may be applicable. 3 Roaming service for mobile phone outside Singapore is available in countries as stated on our website. A deposit may be required for roaming services to certain countries. Separate and additional roaming charges shall apply when you roam outside Singapore. 4 Your account balance is due on the due date as stated in our invoice (“Due Date”). Any dispute on unpaid charges must be made known to us before the Due Date. 5 M1 may require you to provide a deposit in respect of our service(s). The deposit could be used to offset, including but not limited to, any outstanding charges under any of your accounts. 6 You will be responsible for all charges and calls made from your mobile phone/SIM card as long as the Account is in your name, even if your mobile phone/SIM card is not in your possession. 7 For loss of your mobile phone/SIM card, you must report to us at our Customer Service Hotline at 1627. You must report any fraud, suspected fraud, dishonest use or theft of your mobile phone/SIM card to the police in Singapore or overseas (where applicable) and also to us at our Customer Service Hotline at 1627 within 24 hours. 8 M1 shall not be liable for any costs, loss or damage (whether direct or indirect), or for loss of revenue, loss of profits or any consequential loss whatsoever as a result of your using the mobile phone service and/or international telephone service or for whatever reason under this Agreement.
SUMMARY OF MOBILE BROADBAND TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Upon application of an M1 Mobile Broadband service, customer is required to purchase a 3G SIM card to be used with a Mobile Broadband device (“Device”) which is available from M1 on a free rental basis. The free rental basis shall apply only to one Device per customer.The Device can only be used with the M1 3G SIM card. Customers are required to keep the Device in good condition in accordance with the instructions given. M1 will remain the owner of the Device at all times. Customer must not modify or allow anyone to modify the Device. The following charges apply in relation to the Device:

The Mobile Broadband usage benefit is applicable to local usage only. For roaming usage, foreign operators’ 3G / GPRS rates apply. Customer has to subscribe to M1’s Mobile Broadband service for an initial period of 6 months (“Initial Period”). In the event that the customer prematurely terminates the Mobile Broadband service on or before the Initial Period, customer will have to pay M1 for subscription on a pro-rated basis for the remaining months of the Initial Period based on M1’s non-promotional rate of the Mobile Broadband service. Customer is not allowed to temporarily disconnect M1’s services before completion of the Initial Period. Customer who defaults on payment of his M1 bill and is terminated by M1 before completion of the Initial Period, will have to pay the amount as stated in Clause 5 herein. Customer will need to return the Device in good working condition to M1 (if applicable) within 7 days of termination, failing which the Device will be considered as lost and customer is liable to pay the relevant charges as stated in Clause 2 herein. If customer chooses to terminate the Mobile Broadband service, the termination will only be effective upon return of the Device in good working condition to M1. If customer chooses to change his Mobile Broadband plan to any of M1’s non-broadband plan, the bill plan change will only be effective upon return of the Device in good working condition to M1. Mobile Broadband plans are not eligible for promotion handset prices, with 2-year handset contracts. M1 will not be responsible for any interruption, disruption to or deterioration in the quality, reliability or accuracy of the Mobile Broadband service or any technical issue that may arise from or in relation to any Mobile Broadband device or hardware that customer may have connected to the Device. M1 does not warrant that the Mobile Broadband services will be uninterrupted and/or error-free. All Devices provided to customers by M1 are covered under and subject to the terms of warranty from the relevant manufacturers. M1 is not responsible for any defects of the Device due to manufacturer’s or customer’s fault and if applicable, any hardware which customers may have connected to the Device. Customers shall ensure that the Device provided with the Mobile Broadband service is compatible with their PC/notebook’s system. M1 will not be responsible should the device fail to work on the customer’s PC/notebook system. M1 shall not be liable for any costs, loss or damage (whether direct or indirect), or for loss of revenue, loss of profits or any consequential loss whatsoever as a result of your using the Mobile Broadband service. M1’s usual terms and conditions for the provision of services at www.m1.com.sg shall apply to this contract. In cases of inconsistencies, the above terms shall prevail.
