ive years ago, 19th century base ball was nothing but a distant and mostly forgotten memory.
Today, however, 19th century base ball is alive and well here in the great state of Wisconsin. The
Milwaukee Cream Citys are excited and proud to announce the creation of the Milwaukee Grays and
the 19th Century Base Ball Clubs of Wisconsin organization.

19th CENTURY BASE BALL CLUBS OF WISCONSIN
O ver the past five years, Wisconsin has seen the creation of a number
of vintage base ball clubs. This past winter, representatives from the Eagle
Diamonds, Greenbush Dead Citys, Milwaukee Cream Citys and the
Milwaukee Grays met and organized a group that will be known as the
19th Century Base Ball Clubs of Wisconsin. The clubs will be working
together to help spread the origins of base ball’s development in Wisconsin
with hopes of securing non-profit status. By teaming up, the group will
help to assure strict adherence to maintaining historical accuracy of the
origins of the game, will collaborate on scheduling matches and can assist
other groups interested in establishing other clubs in the state.
