Methodology Notes

 Candidate home addresses were obtained from the Kansas Secretary of State,

http://www.kssos.org/elections/elections_upcoming_candidate_display.asp

 Statewide voter registration data were obtained from the Kansas Secretary on June

16, several days after the June 10 filing deadline.

 Additional voter registration data from the Kansas Secretary of State from past years

were consulted. At a minimum, a check was made for residency in the same county and

party in years 2002, 2006, 2010. Additional years were checked when any differences or

discrepancies were found.

 Current Kansas voter registration data include voter history for the last 10 ballots cast,

and were grouped into spring elections, August primary elections, November general

elections, and special elections. Spring + August + November + Special ≤ 10.

 Comments above show approximate registration dates only when a candidate is

registered for less than 10 years in the current county.

 Comments above show any recent gaps in voting in August primary or November

General elections.
