MEMO TO: PAZ From: Michele Reinhart, Planner II, OPG Date: April 2, 2008 RE: Windsor Park Special Zoning District Amendment – Correction Staff would like to make the following correction to the Windsor Park Zoning District amendment. The italicized language below, “which is no less than four feet in length” is in error. This language is not in the original approved Windsor Park Zoning District. The original correct language is shown in the County Resolution Number 2004-049. The language in error, (used in the staff report) came from language considered by OPG in 2003, but was not included in the final approved Windsor Park Special Zoning District. The wrong language appears in Subdistrict No. 1 and needs to be stricken as shown in double strikethrough below: Subdistrict No. 1 “There shall be a front yard measured from the wall of the building, which is no less than four feet in length...
Attached is the underline strikethrough version of the proposed amendments to Subdistricts No. 1 and 2 (Exhibit A). The erroneous language is shown as double strikethrough in the attached version on page 2.
RECOMMENDED MOTIONS The motions reference the corrected proposed Windsor Park Special Zoning District amendment as attached in Exhibit A. 1. THAT the Windsor Park Special Zoning District, Subdistrict No. 1 be amended as recommended by planning board and as shown in Exhibit A, to require that the front yard depth be no more than twenty (20) feet and to require that the first tread and the railing of the stairs be a minimum of one foot (1') from the sidewalk. 2. THAT the Windsor Park Special Zoning District, Subdistrict No. 2 be amended as recommended by planning board and as shown in Exhibit A, to require the first tread and the railing of the stairs to be a minimum of one foot (1') from the sidewalk.
