Sand Creek’s Culinary team is led by Chef de Cuisine, Nathan Wronko. Chef Wronko                                    
continues to redefine the dining experience through ongoing participation in an overseas
educational culinary program from France known as MBI. Wronko holds an Associates Degree
in Culinary Arts from Ivy Tech State College and is a member of the ACF Chefs of Northwest
Indiana.

Sous Chef Scott Proffitt has had a professional culinary career that has spanned more than
twenty years. Earning an A.A.S. from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago in 2001,
Chef Proffitt has previously worked for Long Beach Country Club, Miller Bakery Cafe and Indian
Oak Resort.

Banquet Chef Ryan Phillips continues to offer exceptional detail to all of Sand Creek’s
banquets and events. With a Bachelor’s in Hospitality and Tourism from Purdue University, Chef
Phillips leaves nothing to chance and focuses not only on the quality of all banquet timing but also

EVENT ATTENDANCE GUARANTEES
A guaranteed guest count must be provided at least seven days prior
to the function. Your guarantee is the number of guests the Club is
required to prepare for and is the minimum number for which you
will be billed. The number of guests estimated at the time of
booking may not decrease by over 20%. Should this occur, you will

TIME LIMITATIONS

                                               Contract & Agreement
   1. Member functions are those directly dealing with you as a member for your use, your sons and
   daughters, or mother and father. All other associations will be governed under the non-member function
rules and policies.
2. A deposit/minimum of $500 per small meeting room (Lake, Marsh, Formal Dining Room and Library), $600
per large meeting room, $1,600 for the Grand Ballroom, will be required to guarantee a reservation regardless
of membership status. There is a $500 non-refundable fee for all wedding receptions at Sand Creek. A
reservation with a major credit card will be placed on file. We cannot accept verbally communicated credit
card numbers; we must have a copy of the card with the cardholder’s signature on file. Dates are not firm
until the room deposit has been received along with a signed policies sheet. The deposit will be applied to
the final bill.
3. Saturday sales must be in excess of $8,500 for a Saturday function in the Grand Ballroom.
4. Your group will be restricted to the designated areas of the facility that have been reserved for your
function.
5. Guarantee of guest count must be made at least seven days prior to the function. The number of guests
estimated at the time of booking may not decrease by over 20%. Should this occur, you will be charged 80%
of the original guest estimate regardless of final guest count. Last minute increases in guest numbers will be
accommodated to the best of our ability.
6. Sand Creek assumes no responsibility for damages or loss of articles in the Club prior to, during, or following
your function, for you or your guests.
7. You will be responsible for any damages caused by your guests.
8. The sale and service of alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Indiana Beverage Commission. These rules
will be strictly enforced.
9. The duration of your event will be limited to six (6) hours from the initial cocktail service, until the building is
vacated. Overtime will be billed at a rate of $800 per hour. In all cases, liquor service will be discontinued no
later than 11:30 pm. Sand Creek reserves the exclusive right to discontinue the bar service and or any services
at its discretion regardless of time.
10. Final menu selections must be submitted to the Club for confirmation two weeks prior to the function to
ensure the availability of the desired menu items. All food remaining from any event is considered property of
Sand Creek Country Club.
11. Any guest without the prior written approval of the Club cannot bring in or out of any banquet/meeting
rooms food or beverage of any kind. Disregard may result in additional charges up to $1,000. _________
12. A bonded security officer is required for all wedding receptions or events that have over 100 guests and
have bar services. Security is also required for any events that have valuable merchandise or exhibits that are
displayed or held in the Club overnight. Sand Creek will coordinate security services for your event for a
charge of $300.
13. The customer is responsible for the arrangements and all expenses of shipping and insuring material,
merchandise, exhibits, or any other items to and from the Club. The Club must be notified in advance of
shipping arrangements to ensure proper acceptance of these items upon arrival at the Club.
14. The customer is responsible and shall reimburse the Club for any damage, loss, claims, liabilities (including
reasonable attorney’s fees, whether incurred in preparation for trial, at trial, on appeal or in bankruptcy
proceedings) joint or several, to which the Club may become subject as a result of the agreement or any
default hereunder.
15. The customer is responsible and shall reimburse the Club for any damage, loss or liability incurred to the
Club by any of the customer’s guests or organizations contracted by the customer to provide any services or
goods before, during, and after the function. The customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Club and its
officers, owners, directors, employees, and agents harmless from and against any and all losses, claims,
damages, liabilities (including reasonable attorney’s fees, whether incurred in preparation for trial, at trial, on appeal or in
bankruptcy proceedings) joint or several, to which the Club may become subject as a result of the agreement or any
default hereunder.

  16. A Clean up fee of up to $1,000 will be charged where circumstances arise and additional staffing is
necessary to restore the Club to acceptable standards.
17. Any items to be displayed in the Club or any directional signs must be approved by the Club.
18. All prices are subject to change. Reasonable notification will be given when possible.
19. The Club shall not be liable for non-performance of this contract when such non-performance is
attributable to labor troubles, disputes or strikes, accidents, government (Federal, State and Municipal)
regulations of, or restrictions upon travel or transportation, non-availability of food, beverage or supplies, riots,
national emergencies, acts of God and other causes whether enumerated herein or not, which are beyond
the reasonable control of the Club, preventing or interfering with the Club’s performance of its obligations
under this contract.
20. Payment in full is required in advance for all events unless prior credit arrangements have been established
with the Club. Events that are not member sponsored and have a balance remaining will be settled using the
credit on file and are subject to a 2% surcharge.
21. All balances remaining unpaid for more than thirty (30) days after the due date shall be subject to a
service charge of 1.5% per month (18% charge annually) or the maximum interest rate allowed by state law,
whichever is higher. Should this amount be referred to collection, customer agrees to pay all attorney fees,
court costs, collection expenses, and litigation expenses.
22. All food and beverage is subject to a maximum 20% service charge. All functions will be charged the
current 7% sales tax.
23. Functions may be charged additional room set-up fees if the room arrangements are not usual and
customary.
24. If a function must be cancelled, the deposit will be refunded in full if the Club has received notification of
the cancellation at least six months prior to the function; however, refunds for cancellation of heavily
requested dates are at the discretion of the Club. Deposit will be forfeited (regardless of membership status) if
cancellation notification is received less than six months prior to the scheduled function.

I have read the Private Function Information and the above contract and agree to the terms and conditions.
This booking will remain tentative, subject to cancellation by the Club, until this contract is signed,
accompanied by applicable deposit and received by the Club.
