How to use EagleJobs:
1 Complete an Employment Requisition:
Complete an Employment Requisition for each position. You only need to submit the Employment Requisition once per Fiscal Year for each position. For
example, if you have projected the position for all four quarters, and the position is re-opened during the year, you do not need to re-submit the Employment
Requisition. (The Employment Requisition is available in PDF format online at: www.calstatela.edu/univ/cdc. Click on the College Staff/Faculty icon, then
click the Requisition button. The Employment Requisition needs to be printed and signed by the department official and forwarded to the Career Center for

Student Assistant Positions or the Student Financial Aid Office for Federal Work Study Positions.
Log-on to EagleJobs
Once the Employment Requisition has been signed and completed use the same website to log into EagleJobs. You will be prompted to enter your department
phone number and password. The phone number should be entered with the "3-" prefix before the last four digits as if you were making an on-campus call. For
example, enter 3-3200. Your password is supplied by the Career Center. If you have forgotten your password, contact the Student Employment Office 3-3277 to
have you password e-mailed.

Entering new jobs:
Once you are on the site, click the employer icon. Enter your employer name (use first three letters of your department to insure a better search). Click the JOBS
icon. To enter new jobs, select either On-Campus Non Work Study or On-Campus Work Study and click the create icon. On the Job Description page, be sure to
delete all information in the Contact Info section. Type in the Phrase: “Complete App. In Career Center" on the name field in the Contact Info section. Complete
the remainder of the form according to your needs.
For all Federal Work Study Positions include FWS before your job title. Include the following message in the Department Box: "Federal Work Study Position,
please submit a copy of your Financial Aid Award Letter with Application".
Editing jobs
From the Job Listings menu, select the job you wish to edit by selecting the radio button of the job, click the edit button. Make any changes and submit the
corrections. This is also the menu where you approve and post your job openings or approve and archive the job openings. You do this by selecting one of the two
buttons approve and post or approve and archive.
Duplicating jobs to use this feature for jobs that are both Federal Work Study and Student Assistant.
You may choose First complete the Student Assistant Job and submit. Once
completed, return to the Job Listings menu and select the job you wish to duplicate for Federal Work Study by clicking the appropriate radio button. Click the
duplicate button. Once the job appears on the screen be sure to add the FWS notation to the beginning of the Job Title and include the statement "Federal Work
Study Position, please submit a copy of your Financial Aid Award Letter with Application" on the Department section of the Job Listing Preview page. Submit
the job. Return to the Job Listings menu and select your FWS position by clicking the radio button. Click the change icon and select "On-Campus (Work Study)”.
