      SOMERSET COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS OFFICE

The following are directions to the new Department of Superintendent of Schools
Building. Although our building faces Warren Street, there is no parking
available on Warren Street. It is suggested that you park in the parking garage
which was used for our previous office at 92 East Main Street.

FROM THE NORTH
Take Route 287 South to Exit 17, formerly Exit 13 (Route 202-206 South)
Landmark: Pass Bridgewater Commons Mall on left; stay to right
Turn right onto Route 22 East and go no more than a ¼ mile.
Immediately after the 2nd overpass, turn right onto Grove Street (just past
Kentucky Fried Chicken)
Take Grove, proceed all the way to the end and make a left onto Main Street,
and turn right in the driveway between the HAMON building and 92 East Main
Street (our old building). Parking is available on the 3rd and 4th decks of the
parking garage straight ahead. When you walk to the ground floor of the parking
garage, our building will be on your left. Follow the sidewalk around to the front
entrance of the building on Warren Street.


FROM THE SOUTH (Via Route 287)
Take Route 287 North to Route 22 West
Landmarks: Pass The Courier-News and Fleet Bank on the right
Immediately after the 1st overpass, turn right (see sign for Somerville)
Bear right, go up over the overpass; this leads to Grove Street.
Turn right on Grove Street and proceed all the way to the end and make a left
onto Main Street. Turn right in the driveway between the HAMON building and
92 East Main Street (our old building). Parking is available on the 3rd and 4th
decks of the parking garage straight ahead. When you walk to the ground floor
of the parking garage, our building will be on your left. Follow the sidewalk
around to the front entrance of the building on Warren Street.


FROM THE SOUTH (Via Route 206)
Take Route 206 North From Montgomery and Princeton
Landmark: On Route 206 North approaching Somerville, crossover the four lane
bridge (traffic light) at entrance to DUKE GARDENS on left. After crossing the
bridge, turn right onto Bridge Street (Somerville)
At 2nd traffic light, turn right onto East Main Street Pass Hotel Somerset on left.
Turn right in the driveway between the HAMON building and 92 East Main Street
(our old building). Parking is available on the 3rd and 4th decks of the parking
garage straight ahead. When you walk to the ground floor of the parking garage,
our building will be on your left. Follow the sidewalk around to the front entrance
of the building on Warren Street.


FROM THE EAST:
Take Route 22 West
Go under Route 287 overpass in Bridgewater
Landmarks: Pass The Courier-News and Fleet Bank on the right
Immediately after the next overpass, turn right (see sign for Somerville)
Bear right, go up over the overpass; this leads to Grove Street
Make a right on to Grove Street and proceed all the way the end and make a left
onto Main Street. Turn right in the driveway between the HAMON building and
92 East Main Street (our old building). Parking is available on the 3rd and 4th
decks of the parking garage straight ahead. When you walk to the ground floor
of the parking garage, our building will be on your left. Follow the sidewalk
around to the front entrance of the building on Warren Street.


FROM THE WEST:
Take Route 22 East into Somerville
Landmark: Pass Ethicon Inc. and Commerce Bank on right
Immediately after the 2nd overpass, turn right onto Grove Street (just past
Kentucky Fried Chicken)
Make a right onto Grove St and proceed all the way to the end and make a left
onto Main Street. Turn right in the driveway between the HAMON building and
92 East Main Street (our old building). Parking is available on the 3rd and 4th
decks of the parking garage straight ahead. When you walk to the ground floor
of the parking garage, our building will be on your left. Follow the sidewalk
around to the front entrance of the building on Warren Street.


FROM 100 River View Plaza (NJDOE) - ROUTE 29 (Trenton)
Take Route 29 North past statehouse north to route 295/95. Take route 295 East
(make a right) to route 31 North exit. Take route 31 North (about 15 minutes) to
route 202 North (about 20 minutes) through Flemington towards Somerville. At
the Somerville circle (just past J&J Ortho) continue on overpass bearing right
onto 22 East. Follow directions for 22 East above to 27 Warren Street .


PARKING ALERT!

The parking garage at 92 East Main Street has reserved parking on the 1st
and 2nd levels. Visitors are asked to park on the 3rd or 4th levels. There is
no charge for parking. Additional parking is available behind 92 East Main
Street on Veterans Memorial Parkway or across the street from 92 E. Main
Street in the Bernie Field Parking Deck across the street which is owned by
the county.
