What’s New for Choices Planner for Career Transitions?
We’ve been listening to your suggestions for improving Choices Planner! Here are some of the new features and enhancements we’ve added to improve your Choices Planner experience.

Choices Planner Guideways – Our Guideways take users through the Choices Planner features in a logical order, keeping track of their progress as they go. The Guideways are a great way to ensure everyone is getting the most out of their planning tools. We’ve created two Guideways to fit the need of adults in career transition. The first is designed to help adults with extensive work experience make plans for their next step. The second is aimed at adults with more limited recent work experience. Portfolio Merging – Ever noticed that some people at your site create more than one portfolio? That can make it hard to monitor their progress. You can now merge multiple portfolios through the Professional Tools. Professional Account: Administrator Privileges – We’ve increased the security of site administration. All Professional Accounts can still access the Reporter, Reviewer and Tracker features in order to monitor users’ progress. However, only those with Administrator privileges can perform administrative tasks for site management. These administrative tasks include managing passwords, creating Professional Accounts or upgrading individual portfolios to Professional Accounts. To upgrade your Professional Account to include Administrator privileges, you’ll need an Administrator Code. You can find the Administrator Code in your Welcome Letter. After you upgrade using your Administrator Code, you will not need to use the code again. Clearer Relationships Between Interests and Career Clusters – In order to highlight how interests can connect to career clusters, we’ve matched Interest Profiler results with career clusters. After completing the Interest Profiler, you can choose to see your top career clusters, in addition to your top careers.
