Changes in Claims Register There have been significant changes in the way the Claims Register is viewed. You will still access the Claims Register from the ‘Reports’ menu. The screen will now list all claims and the claim ‘history.’ The claims are now linked to items on the docket which makes it much easier to view the history on a claim as shown below:
In the graphic above, you can see the history on claim #2. The ‘Status’ field shows the most current status of the claim. All the previous history on the claim is also shown. You can see that the most recent history item is that an Order granting a Motion to Reclassify Claim has entered and that has automatically changed the ‘Status’ to ‘Reclassify.’ Below is an explanation of the different status codes: Allow - Order to Allow Claim has entered. Disallow/Expunge - Order to Disallow or Expunge Claim entered Limit- Order on Motion to Limit Distribution entered. Objection - Order entered on Objection to Claim Reclassify- Order on Motion to Reclassify Claim entered. Satisfaction - Notice of Satisfaction has been filed Transfer/Assign - Notice of Assignment filed. Withdraw - Notice of Withdrawal of Claim filed.
