Re: Assinippi Liquors, Inc.
Premises: 2103 Washington Street
City/Town: Hanover, MA 02339
License: Wine & Malt Package
Heard: February 7, 2008
This was a hearing concerning alleged violation of 204 CMR 2.05 (2) Permitting an
illegality on the licensed premises, to wit: Ch.138 §34- Sale or delivery of an alcoholic
beverage to a person under twenty-one years of age. The licensee stipulated to the facts of
the investigator’s report which stated that an underage operative, working under the
supervision of A.B.C.C. investigators ordered and was served a Bud Light. The youth whose
date of birth is July 20, 1988 (age 19) was not asked for identification.
The licensee has policies, which address alcohol service that all employees must
follow. Based on the evidence, the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission finds that the
licensee violated 204 CMR 2.05 (2) Permitting an illegality on the licensed premises, to wit:
Ch.138 §34-Sale or delivery of an alcoholic beverage to a person under twenty-one years of
age (1 Count) and, therefore, suspends the license for a period of 4 days of which 2 will
be suspended for one year as long as no other violations of Ch.138 or Commission
regulations are found within one year.
