                              Greetings We welcome Christine Dalton, Director of Volunteers, Youth and
   Vice –President,           International Services for the American Red Cross South Central Chapter, New Haven,

         Secretary:            LAST Week: Two excellent programs had been arranged by Mary Malin. We took
      Rebecca Simpson         one of them and very much enjoyed the presentation on "Long Term Care Insurance" by
                              Don Harris and Charles Kelly of Genworth Financial. Our visitors came from Weston and
         Treasurer:
                              New Canaan. They were real experts and answered all our questions. For example: "At
      David Schumacher        what age should I take our Long Term Care Insurance?" The answer, “As soon as you can

                              They left with us a treatise, copy to each of us. "10 Truths about Long Term Care

                              Also Last Week: President Jim offered beautiful 4-color posters for members to publicize
                              the pancake breakfast (provided by Arnie Bernstein). Miller thanks President Jim for paying

                              his fine---$20 for having his picture on the front page of the Cheshire Herald telling
                              every body how old he is..

                              Membership Proposal: The           Directors approved Christopher Glenn, Martial Arts as a
                              prospective new member of the Rotary Club of Cheshire--proposed by President Jim
         Frank Nastri
                              O'Rourke. Chris was introduced last week.

                              New Generations:         Six students from Cheshire High School are signed up for the New
                              Generations Conference scheduled for March 10 at Choate Rosemary Hall. Mark Eckert is
                              coordinating the effort.

                               March 8: (dinner) Assistant District Governor Carlene Lepre will be with us.

          Club 6714            March 22: Mark Johnson, Vice President of Klingberg Family Centers. Mr. Johnson is the
   Charter: Oct. 27, 1939                Vice president of fundraising, public relations, marketing and alumni relations.
                                         Klingberg is an agency serving abused and neglected children up to 18 years
 District 7980 Governor:                 old. The 100 year old agency has a residential program. Special education
                                          school and community programs for intensive family therapy.
