Do not staple picture to form--paper clip it or leave loose in envelope. Engagement: Engagement: Should be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to wedding. Should be submitted no sooner than 4-6 weeks before the wedding (6-8 weeks during MayAug) Printed according to the date of the wedding. Wedding: The earliest we will receive a wedding announcement is two weeks prior to the date of the wedding. We will not run wedding announcements until after the wedding has occurred. Announcements are accepted up to 6 months after the wedding. Weddings more than 6 months old are returned. Announcements are printed first come, first served. Anniversaries: Printed for couples married 50 years or above. Both members of the couple must be alive. You may write the date preferred for it to run on the form, but we do not guarantee a certain date in which it will run. Announcements are printed first come, first served. Birthdays: Announcements are only for those turning 90, 95, or 100 and older. Announcements may be submitted eight weeks before or after the birthday date.. Announcements more than eight weeks old will be returned. You may write the date preferred for it to run on the form, but we do not guarantee a certain date in which it will run. Announcements are printed first come, first served. General: Write legibly. Make sure contact information is on announcement. If you are in doubt of an announcement running on time, please send as early as allowed by us. There is a drop box in front of the News Sentinel in which you may drop your announcement. You may also drop it off in the lobby downstairs at the main entrance (from 8a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday) or mail it in. Write wedding, engagement, anniversary or birthday on the envelope. We do not accept announcements or pictures by e-mail or fax at this time. Use the form we provide, any additional info (invitations, etc.) is not necessary, as we will still use our ‘format.’ Our form is our guideline to ensure equality with all announcements. Do not attach info (or write your own info) and not fill out the form. If you do not want info shared that is on the form, please mark through, put N/A, etc. If the parent(s) or children is/are deceased, please feel free to list him/her/them, we will list them as ‘The late’ If there are any questions, please call Tracy LeBon, 865-342-6430.
