Deadlines/Entry Fees/Notification
• Early entry postmark                         October 19, 2007               $30
• Regular entry postmark                       November 9, 2007               $40
• Late entry postmark                          December 1, 2007               $60
• withoutabox extended deadline                December 8, 2007               $75
• Email notification and withoutabox.com posting of official selections              February 4, 2008
Entry Fee Specifics
• Entries submitted through withoutabox receive a $5 discount
• Entries submitted through withoutabox receive a $15 discount on the Extended Deadline
• Student filmmakers receive a $5 discount.
• Southern Oregon residents’ entry fees are waived when you submit a Locals Only form.
• Returning AIFF alumnae filmmakers’ entry fees are waived (please include film title and year).
• No other discounts will be granted.
Other Details You Need To Know
• Completion Date: all submissions must have been completed after 1/1/06.
• Entries may not publicly screen in Southern Oregon prior to 5/1/08.
• Preview Format: VHS(NTSC) or DVD(NTSC Region 1 video format for playing on set top players) only.
• Please label tape/DVD and box with title (and withoutabox number).
• Loss and Damage: while every precaution will be taken to safeguard all materials submitted,
   we cannot accept or assume responsibility in the event of loss or damage en route or otherwise.
• All submitted materials become the property of the AIFF and won’t be returned without a SASE.
• Information on arrival of entries to the AIFF office should be monitored on withoutabox.com or
   through the shipping company used.

If Your Film Is Selected
• Filmmakers will be invited to Ashland (in sunny Southern Oregon) with complimentary lodging,
    VIP pass, some meals, and ground transportation to/from the Rogue Valley Medford Airport.
• Films will be placed in competitive and non competitive categories at the sole discretion of the AIFF.
• Submitted material may be copied and utilized for the purpose of promoting your film.
• Exhibition Formats: 35mm, BetaSP, or DVD (NTSC Region 1) only. Other formats will be considered
    based on the availability of equipment.
• You are expected to provide the AIFF with the format indicated on the entry form.
• You are responsible for shipping the exhibition copy of your film to the festival.
• The AIFF will return or forward exhibition copies with ground shipping only. All non ground
    shipping requests must be paid by the filmmaker.
Preview Screener Shipping Information
• Each submission needs its own entry form and payment.
• Enclose a SASE if you want your film returned if it is not selected (optional).
• Please don’t send films in fiber filled envelopes; they damage your film and our equipment.
