Based on data collected as of Sep 30, 2009, Lender Processing Services Inc (LPS) said its October 2009 Mortgage Monitor Report "shows record-high rates of non-current loans." The report found that the US' September 2009 foreclosure rate was 3.12%. The total US non-current loan rate is 12.49%, while the nation's foreclosure inventory rate is 3.12%, according to LPS. The states reported to have the most non-current loans based on data through September 2009 are: Florida, Nevada, Mississippi, Arizona, Georgia, California, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Illinois.
