Client Meeting Notes: Week 04

Date: 01 October, 2009
Time: 0930 hrs – 1200 hrs
Location: Using Audio Conferencing on Skype.


The AROHE Web Development project has been assigned to two teams. One is based in RIT, NY
and the other is the CSCI 577A Team 14 at USC. Very often we have meetings with the RIT team
to discuss the various aspects of the project and try to find a mutual ground of how we could
approach the project that would suit our schedules and skill set.

In this meeting, both the teams agreed on what kind of tasks will be performed by us so as to provide
the client with the results as soon as possible.

Features on which USC Team will work on:

   Implementing Calendaring on home page.

   Allow the user to send emails to AROHE, from the website.

   Change the database platform from MS Access to MySQL.

   Add more security features to the login procedure on the website.

   Allow the user to pay on the website, via PayPal or mail their checks to AROHE for the membership
     fee.

Both the teams realized that managing of the tasks depends a lot on the fact that how much the RIT
team will be able to complete the website work this fall. In accordance to that, the division of the
responsibilities might change.

Time: 1000 hrs – 1100 hrs
Location: GER220, USC.

The CSCI 577A Team 14 meets with the client on Mondays to discuss the progress of the
project, understand more about the client and the kind of work that we will be done in the
coming week. The team shaper also discusses about the forms / documents / tasks that have to
be completed by the client.

   Discussed with the client about the proceedings of the meeting with the RIT team.

   We, the USC team, showed our client the prototype that we have designed and asked them
    to complete the feedback form.

   Resolved a few technical issues related to using the WikiWinWin tool.

   Resolved a few technical issues related to viewing the prototype on the web browser.


   Our client has added two new points to the requirement details:
    o They want a copy of the database to be shifted on the web. This makes connectivity
      between the website and the database easier and faster.

    o Our client also wants a feature to be able to track the registrations for the conference.
