Survey Form of Foreign Teachers’ Preferences for Attending the Training Course
for Thai Language, Culture and Teachers’ Professional Ethics and
Teaching Course of 15 Credits
With reference to the Teachers’ Council of Thailand Act 2004 along with the resolution of the Teachers’
Council of Thailand Board in 2006 regarding rules and regulations in evaluating foreigners’ knowledge,
all foreign teachers have to obtain a teaching license issued by the Teachers’ Council of Thailand and
they must also pass a test and knowledge evaluation according to the standards of the Teachers’ Council
of Thailand Board. Also according to the orders Wor Kor 1065/2544 and Sor Por Thor 43/2546, foreign
teachers must have a Bachelor of Education degree or a degree in any other major with not less than 15
credits in teaching. If they do not possess any of these qualifications, they will be given a grace period of
1 year to attain them.
The Association of Private Schools for English Program together with Srinakarinwiroj University would
therefore like to survey the need in organizing the development course for foreign teachers according to
the Teachers’ Council of Thailand and orders Wor Kor 1065/2544 and Sor Por Thor 43/2546. Being an
administrator of your school, APEP would like to survey your opinions and use the information
provided to organize the course accordingly.
