"SPRINGBANK COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL EXAM POLICIES AND PROCEDURES- JANUARY"
SPRINGBANK COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL EXAM POLICIES AND PROCEDURES– JANUARY 2010 Examination Policy: When students do not write final exams they usually receive a mark of zero unless there are extenuating circumstances. The school MUST be contacted PRIOR to the beginning of the final exam or a mark of zero will be assigned. All students are expected to be present for their final exams whether the exam is written in the classroom or other location. (This includes final in-class essays the weeks preceding exam week.) The only acceptable excuse for missing a final exam is illness. A medical form is available from the school and MUST be signed by a medical doctor. Students who are absent from diploma exams may write at the next scheduled exam date providing the appropriate paperwork has been filled out and the rewrite fee has been paid. Examination Procedures: Arrive 20 minutes before your exam starts and hand in your textbooks to the foyer. Do not bring coats, back packs books calculator covers, cell phones, Ipods, or study notes into the gym or exam area. Only approved materials are allowed at your exam station, ie: pencils, pens, and approved calculators. Students who arrive more than one hour after the examination has started will NOT be allowed to write the examination.
