Presidential Roles Assignment
Objective: For this assignment you will need to find instances of President Bush filling his presidential roles. This should be done by cutting out newspaper/magazine articles and pictures to show how the role is being filled. You will need to find two examples of the president fulfilling each of his 7 roles. These roles include: Commander in Chief, Party Leader, Legislative Leader, Chief Executive, Head of State, Economic Leader, and Chief Diplomat. For each of the examples you find you will need to summarize the article and explain how the President is fulfilling that specific role. Ten points extra credit will be given for students who find three examples of EVERY role. No partial extra credit will be given.
