Grant Deliverables:
The Oklahoma Labor Market Information PY2007 grant deliverable accomplishments are
outlined below:
1. Continue to populate the ALMIS Database with state and local data
Accomplishments:
• Statewide short-term (2006 – 2008) industry and occupational projections data was populated
according to the specifications and guidelines issued by the ALMIS Database Consortium in July
2007.
• CES, OES Wage, Labor Force, Employer Database (empdb), Income, Population, and Industry
ALMIS core tables were populated in September 2007 and again in June/July 2008. All core
tables have been populated.
• The long-term and short-term employment projections data was populated according to the
specifications and guidelines issued by the ALMIS Database Consortium July 2008.
• We have converted to version 2.4 of the Workforce Information Database.
2. Produce and disseminate industry and occupational employment projections.
Accomplishments:
• Statewide long-term employment projections to 2016 were completed and sent to ETA as
deliverable June 30 2008.
• The long-term and short-term employment projections data will be populated to ALMIS by July
2008.
• Short-term industry and occupational projections (2007-2009) were completed and sent to ETA
as deliverable June 30 2008.
• Statewide short-term (2007 – 2009) industry and occupational projections data will be populated
to ALMIS data tables in July 2008.
• Statewide short-term (2006 – 2008) industry and occupational projections data were populated to
ALMIS data tables in July 2007.
• Statewide short-term (2006 – 2008) Industry & Occupational Projections and Workforce
Investment Area Long-term (2004 – 2014) Industry & Occupational Projections were placed
online in August 2007.
• Statewide Short-term (2006 – 2008) Industry and Occupational Projections data was populated to
ALMIS data tables in July 2007.

5. Partner and consult with workforce investment boards.
A partnership venture with the Workforce Investment Board (WIB) is maintained on a
continuous basis. During PY 2007 the following activities as outlined below were accomplished.
LMI Director:
1. Met with the State Workforce Board or a committee thereof on four different occasions.
2. Attended three local board staff meetings.
6. Conduct special studies and economic analyses.
