The seminar will run from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the college’s C. Don Bakehorn Instructional Center in Peru, 425 W. Main St. It is the third in a series of five being taught by area business experts. The presenter will be Certified Food Service Professional Ed Norris of the Indiana State Department of Health. The agriculture seminar series hosted by Ivy Tech Community College will run every Tuesday through Feb. 23. Other topics will include farming different soil types and investing in farm land. Presenters will include the president of Halderman Farm Management and Real Estate, Howard Halderman, and Howard County farmer Scott Maple. Advanced registration is required for the seminars.
