Championships. The following are the details of the championships:

ADJUDICATORS: An international panel of IDSF adjudicators.
CASH PRIZES: Attractive cash prizes for the following events:

IDSF Open Latin and Standard (S$) 1500 1200 700 400 / 300 / 200
ACCOMODATION: A Hotel Subsidy of S$200 per couple will be given to all overseas competitors competing only in
the IDSF Open (Latin & Standard).
ENTRY FEE: Basic entry fee for 1 event (Excluding Teacher /Student Events) : S$60 per couple
Additional events (Excluding Teacher /Student Events) : S$40 per couple per event.
Teacher/Student Event: S$100 per couple per event
Singapore competitors please enclose payment (non-refundable cheque payable to “SHAWN
AND GLADYS DANCEWORLD” or cash) with your entry form.
Overseas competitors are to make payment upon collection of number tags on the day of the
competition.
TICKETS: Competitors: Free entry to ballroom for day events only.
Competitors not competing in the evening are required to purchase Dinner
Tickets for evening admission.
Spectators: Day admission is S$60 per person.
Dinner tickets: S$400 (VIP), S$350 (1st row), S$280/ S$220 (2ndrow),
S$180 (3rd row)

CHAMPIONSHIP RULES
1. All competitors except for Student / Teacher events, must be members of their respective IDSF Member
Federation.
2. No change of partner is allowed in the same event.
3. All IDSF Open Grade A and Asia-Pacific Rising Star competitors must be dressed in appropriate
costumes as specified in the IDSF Dress Regulations.
4. All competitors must attend rehearsals as requested by the Championship Organisers.
5. All competitors must be present for their events on time. Latecomers will be disqualified.
6. The Championship Organisers reserves the right to change the programme of events without prior
notice.
7. The Championship Organisers will not accept any liability, claims for injuries, damage or loss suffered by
the competitors.
8. The judges’ decision shall be final.
9. In the event of any question or matter arising out of any point which is not expressively provided for in the
rules, the Championship Organisers shall have the power to use its own discretion.
10. Video taping of any form is strictly forbidden.
11. In the event of Television coverage or Production of a Video Recording for commercial purposes of any
part of the Championship, all Competitors agree that the rights to any fees from such television or video
recording will vest solely with Shawn & Gladys DanceWorld or the Singapore DanceSport Federation. No
competitors or Associations shall have any claim against the Organisers, Television Company or video
producer at any such event.
12. Age limits are taken during the calendar year 2010.
Master Events, both partnerships must be 40 years old and above.
13. Singapore Closed Events are strictly open to members of the Singapore DanceSport
Federation (SGDF).
14. Grade D event is closed for student of Shawn and Gladys DanceWorld only.
