                            PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN

The Patient Care Technician program is designed to provide education and training to
prepare students to function under the direction of a licensed professional to perform
non-licensed technical patient care skills in a hospital, physicians practice, and other
settings. Students who complete this certificate will be employable as entry level
Patient Care Technicians.

Admission Requirements:

      Must be at least 18 years of age.
      High School/GED required
      Must achieve regular admission status with the college.
      Must be current on immunizations.
      Must hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification for Georgia
       or take C.N.A. Fundamentals

                              MEDICAL OFFICE CLERK
The Medical Office Clerk program can be a two-quarter credit certificate program
designed to provide training in medical secretarial skills for persons wishing to
pursue a career in a medical office or provide skills to a medical office clerk. This is
done through selected occupational courses providing a variety of techniques and
materials necessary to assist the student in acquiring the needed knowledge and
skills.

Admissions Requirements:

      Must be at least 18 years of age.
      Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent by the completion of the
       program.
      Must achieve regular admission status with the college.
