We learned the “Dd” sound in K-Wac. Next week we will be learning about “Oo”. Please continue sending
your Treasure Hunt items to school.

We are also started to send home guided reading books in a bag. Please allow you and your child to read
these books for 2 nights, and then return them to school. Also remember to keep reading for Book It –
When the students bring their slips back to school, Mrs. Morgan and Miss Fink will give each student a
Pizza Hunt personal pan pizza coupon.

Our spelling test are going Great ☺ Thank you for continuing to practice at home. We see the
excitement in the students, when they see words they know.

In math, we are learning how to write our numbers, last week it was 1-5 this week is 5-10. We are
continuing to learn, write, and count to these numbers.

In Social Studies we are learning about all the people in our community that are needed to get things
done on a daily basis. We are planning on having a few special visitors from our Mitchell community come
in and share information with our class about their jobs and how they help us.

Please continue working on your telephone numbers, addresses, and birthdays. We will start asking each
student during free time and if they know it, they will get a certificate on our wall.
