I urge you to reconsider. I will show you how to put on an amazing science show for 5th to 8th grade audiences with easy to obtain equipment. You will see the demonstrations, find out where to get the equipment, get plans for a do-it-yourself hovercraft, and learn the kewl ideas behind the physics. We will be so noisy, and have so much fun, that the other presenters will shush us. 3 program goals 1. Encourage librarians to be more comfortable talking about science with the target audience. 2. Show the attendees the tricks of putting on a safe, memorable, educational show. 3. Send them home with the instructions to do their own show at their own library.
