   Prior to internship participation students must:
   • Meet background and criminal check requirements
   • Obtain and pass a health screening & drug test at their own expense
   • Purchase uniform
  Upon successful completion of HLTH-8005E (84 hours of classroom instruction) and
  HLTH-8015A (a 100 hour unpaid internship), you will receive a Macomb WCE Certificate
  and be prepared to take the National certification exam.

Pharmacy Technician                                               HLTH-8005E
   Prerequisite: WorkKeys® Assessment Test
   Acquire the knowledge and skills to become a pharmacy technician. Study drug names, doses, math
   calculations, routes, orders, abbreviations, laws, and procedures. Although a High School diploma or
   GED is not a requirement for this class, many employers require it prior to internship participation.
