THE SOURCES OF VITAMINS Food rich in vitamin A cod-liver oil, liver, eggs, dairies,vegetables:carrots and spinach. The lack of vitamin A causes the stopage of growth and development, problems with sight and a bad condition of skin. Food rich in vitamin B1 yeast, oyster, liver, kidneys, heart and cereals. The lack of vitamin B1 results in paralysis, beriberi, problems with heart and respiratory system. Food rich in vitamin B6 yeast, spinach, liver, fish, bananas, wholemeal bread, nuts, potatoes. The lack of vitamin B6 causes irritation, depression, anemia, diarrhoea, dermatitis. Food rich in vitamin C lemons, oranges, kiwi, black currants, tomatoes, potatoes, green peppers, cabbage, parsley. The lack of vitamin C causes scurvy and hampered wound healing Food rich in vitamin D cod-liver oil, milk, eggs, butter, sardines; created while you are exposed to the sun. The lack of vitamin D causes the bad condition of bones and teeth Food rich in vitamin E oil, wholemeal bread, green vegetables, The lack of vitamin E causes sterility. Food rich in vitamin K Yoghurt, eggs, cheese, salad The lack of vitamin K causes a longer time of coagulation of blood.
