ADOBE ACROBAT PORTABLE DOCUMENT FORMAT (PDF)

Adobe(tm) Acrobat(tm) software provides instant access to documents in
their original form, independent of computer platform. Acrobat Reader allows
the user to view, navigate, print, and present any Portable Document Format
(PDF) file.

This file contains installation instructions and product information for the
Acrobat Reader program. The On-line Guide (Acrobat Reader Help) also provides
essential information about Acrobat Reader 2.0.

All text files on this disc are provided in both ASCII format and Acrobat
PDF. All references to file names in the documentation apply to ASCII .TXT
files. The \DOCU_PDF directory contains matching text files with .PDF
extensions.

INSTALLATION OF ADOBE ACROBAT READER

when executed. This reader is operational only in a Windows environment.

   Installing Acrobat Reader

Installation requires approximately 2 Mb of free hard disk space.

To install Acrobat Reader 2.0 on your hard drive, from the
Windows Program Manager, choose RUN from the File menu and type

       [drive]:\ACROREAD.EXE

Follow the instructions on your screen.

Installation will take a few minutes, after which a group item will
be created with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
ACCESSING THE PDF MENU FILE

The MENU.PDF file is functionally identical to the DOS-based GSMENU system
also installed on this disc and contains a page by page duplication of the
menus provided by its DOS counterpart.

After starting Acrobat Reader 2.0 from Windows, open the file

   [drive]:\MENU.PDF.

To move from one menu item to the next, click on the item with the mouse.
To return to a previous menu page, click on the return button at the top of
the screen. This is the button with a single arrow pointing to the left.
All PDF files may be printed from Acrobat Reader 2.0.
