            International Malayalam Film Awards 2007 (IMFA) towards the end of the year

       The Malayalam movie industry is going to enjoy first-of-its’s-kind global awards, voted exclusively by its
       lovers across the world.

       The International Malayalam Film Awards 2007 - IMFA will be the first ever expatriate audience choice
       awards recognizing the outstanding performances and contributions in Malayalam Film Industry. The debut
       show of the regular annual event would be held in Dubai along with an electrifying entertainment show
       towards the end of this year.

        Leading Advertising group ADVA organizes this first-of-its-kind unique award programme joining in
       hands with the premium Malayalam celebrity magazine TAKE: 1 and Dubai’s popular Malayalam radio
       channel HIT 96.7 FM.

        A prominent jury from the Malayalam movie industry will choose the movies to be considered for the
       nominations. Thousands of Malayalam movie fans living across the world can cast their votes for the best
       performances in the Malayalam movies released between the mid 2006 and mid 2007, informed the
       organizers of the awards.

        The movie lovers can participate in the voting process through Internet, SMS and Print Media; also they
       can drop in their voting brochures in IMFA Ballot Boxes that would be set up at selected centers. The jury
       will monitor the final round and the winners will be announced at the venue of the star night.

        The concept of IMFA is inspired by the blockbuster success of GMMA (Gulf Malayalam Music Awards
       2006), the first-of-its-kind concept awards for the entire Malayalam Music Industry exclusively voted by
       the audience across the gulf countries. The second edition of the gulf Malayalam music awards was held at
       Dubai Airport Expo on 27th April this year.

        Over 50000 buddies of Malayalam movies, living across the world is expected to vote for their favourite
       choices in the industry. And around 20000 people would have chance to enjoy the mega award night.
       Renowned film personalities, stars, musicians, celebrities and the entire Malayalam Film Industry will
       perform at the award night. Definitely the IMFA would enrapture the South Indian film fans in the world
       with a terrific entertainment extravaganza.
