Copa Notre Dame: The ANS Elementary soccer teams participated in this Cup from February 9 to April
3. Results: U-9 (Baby), 4th place; U-11 (Premosco), 2nd place; U-13 (Mosco), Champions; U-15 (Infantil),
3rd place. Ricardo Lacayo received a medal as the Tournament MVP in the U-13 category.

Track & Field: On March 7 three members of ANS Track and Field Team competed in a national meet
organized by the National Federation. The competition took place at INJUDE. Patrizya Wyler (10th grade)
ran the 100 meter dash race in 12.90 (silver medal) and the 200 meter race in 27.37 (bronze medal).
Anya Moller (8th grade) ran the 800 meter dash race in 2:54:13 (bronze medal). Lee Yun Lee (10th grade)
ran in the 200 meter dash race.

These are outstanding results given the fact that our athletes have been training for less than a year.

Elementary Baseball: The ANS Elementary Baseball team is having a great season. In their first two
games they have had a lot of fun. Parents supported their children in each of the games. These were
preparatory games toward the Ist Tiger Cup to be organized by our school between April 21- May 14.

Results
February 19: ANS 6 vs. Eagles 7
March 5: ANS 10 vs Eagles 6

Faculty vs. Boys Varsity Soccer Team: This match was played on March 7. After many years of frustrating
losses to the faculty, the student body finally ended their losing record against a fighting faculty with many
strong players. About 100 spectators watched the game.

Swimming: On March 14-15 the ANS swimming team Las Pirañas participated in the National
Championship at Barracudas. Three of our swimmers met the requirements to compete in the CCCAN
(Caribbean and Central America Swimming Championship): Germania Jarquin (50, 100, 200 backstroke
and 200 CI), Carmen Guerra (50,100, 100 breaststroke) setting three new national records for the
Infantil category, Isis Molina 100 breaststroke.
