Dear Exhibitor,
We would like to invite you to the Canadian PGA Atlantic 2008 Merchandise Show, to
be held at the Days Inn, 20 Highfield Park Drive, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia on 7-8-9-10
November 2008.
We are very pleased to announce that the show will again be held in metro Halifax.
We are inviting all golf clubs and courses to attend, whether or not they currently employ
a CPGA professional. This should increase the number of potential buyers who attend the
show. A “job fair” will be hosted in the CPGA Atlantic Hospitality Room. Golf clubs and
courses looking to employ professionals, suppliers looking for sales representatives and
professionals looking for new employment will have the opportunity to post information
and be available to meet with prospective candidates and employers.
Our annual CPGA Atlantic Awards presentation will feature a dinner again this year.
Each exhibiting company that registers for the show will receive one complimentary
awards dinner ticket. The awards event celebrates excellence in our industry and will be a
highlight of the show. We encourage all exhibitors to attend. Additional tickets may be
purchased on the following show registration form. Tickets for this event usually sell out
quickly, so order your extra tickets soon.

Following is schedule of events:
Friday 7 November                             Move-in day for exhibitors
Saturday 8 November             -7:00 am      Registration for Exhibitors, CPGA Atlantic
                                              members and non-PGA clubs and courses
                    -8:00 am to 4:30 pm       Viewing (lunch break from noon – 1 pm)
                                -6:30 pm      Canadian PGA Atlantic Awards dinner
Sunday 9 November -8:00 am-7:00 pm            Booking appointments

                                 -7:00 pm     CPGA Atlantic members meeting

Monday 10 November -8:00 am-4:00 pm           Booking appointments

On booking days the exhibitors may close from noon to 1 pm, should they wish.
Exhibitors who do not have appointments after 6 pm may close for the day.
Show registration fees are payable to CPGA Atlantic
$ 598.90 ($ 530. plus 68.90 HST) for ONE showroom for exhibitors who are
members of the Canadian Golf Industry Association.
$ 768.40 ($ 680. plus 88.40 HST) for ONE showroom for exhibitors who are
Non-members of the Canadian Golf Industry Association
$ 113.00 ($ 100. plus 13.00 HST), per room, for each additional showroom required by
any exhibitor.
(For example, a CGIA member, with three rooms, would pay a registration of
$ 530.. + $ 100. + $ 100. + $ 94.90 HST = $ 824.90. The fee for a non- CGIA member
with three show rooms would be $ 680. + $ 100. + $ 100. + $114.40. HST = $ 994.40)
In addition, each exhibitor is responsible for paying the Days Inn a rate of
$ 109. + HST , per day, for each show room used from arrival on 7 November
until departure. As well you will pay the hotel for any tables required for your
showrooms. The hotel will require credit card information for show room fees.
Please note
 The CPGA Atlantic Merchandise Show Committee will assign the show rooms.
 Registration preference will be given to suppliers who attended our show in 2007.
    This preference will be extended until 15 August 2008, after which registration will be
    accepted on a first come basis.
   Show rooms cannot be used as sleeping accommodation.
   Suppliers are responsible for arranging their own sleeping accommodations

A block of rooms is being tentatively held for sleeping accommodations, so please book
your rooms as soon as possible. Ensure when you make your reservations that the
Days Inn is aware that you are part of the Merchandise Show, so to guarantee the

Please note that there is no loading bay or receiving area on the premises, therefore the hotel

Cancellation policy:
Cancellations must be received by 1 September 2008 to receive a full refund. Cancellations
received after this date but prior to 1 October 2008 will receive refund of 50% of their registration
fee. Cancellations received after 1 October 2008 will forfeit their entire registration fee.
