              Organizations Involved

North American Pole Vault Association
During the early 1990’s, there was a decline in the interest in the pole vault
in the United States at the high school and the college levels. The North
American Pole Vault Association (NAPVA) was formed to provide a
grand-prix type schedule for vaulters in America, to provide travel and
coaching assistance for athletes and to hold competitions in regions that
would provide the most exposure for the event and the athletes who
compete in it. The NAPVA is a non-profit association dedicated to the
sport of track and field and more specifically, the event of the pole vault.

USA Track & Field Pole Vault Development
The United States Track & Field Association (USATF), the governing body
for track & field in the United States, has a special division for the
development and promotion of the pole vault. Brian Yokoyama, assistant
track coach at Mt. SAC, is the National Development Chairman for the
women’s pole vault. Bob Fraley, head track coach for Fresno State just
recently stepped down from a fourteen-year reign as National
Development Chairman for the men.

Fresno State Track & Field Alumni
The Fresno State Track & Field Alumni are a coalition of former athletes
from one of the nation’s most active programs that reaches out to
developing and elite athletes. The strong tradition of pole vaulters at
Fresno State is apparent in the numerous 17 foot and higher jumpers it has
produced. The Fresno State Track & Field Alumni has a great tradition of
reaching out to the local community through numerous clinics, camps, and
sponsorship of the National Pole Vault Summit and the North American
Pole Vault Championships held annually in Old Town Clovis.

                                                                                 3
Mount San Antonio College Track & Field Program
One of the top track & field programs in California, Mt. SAC annually
takes on and accomplishes more than any other track program in the
country, including hosting or sponsoring the following:
 The nation’s largest and most prestigious cross country meet, the Mt.
      SAC Cross Country Invitational.
 The world-famous Mt. SAC Relays – the world’s largest track & field
meet with over 8,00 competitors. This meet has hosted more
Olympic gold medallists than any other in the world.
 The Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles (AAF) Mt. SAC
Relays Track & Field Grant. This grant encompasses the hosting of
over 40 clinics at various junior high and elementary schools
throughout Southern California and putting on the AAF/Mt. SAC
      Relays Youth Days Track Meet.
 The Five Acres Invitational Track Meet for children that are wards of
      the court due to abuse.
    Special Olympic competitions.
    National Championship competitions.

                                                                         4

Enclosed is a DVD showing the layout and staging of the event.

                   Event Promotions
Promotion of this event will be handled by representatives of Fresno State
Athletics, Mt. San Antonio Community College, and the Business
Organization of Old Town Clovis. Members of all Fresno and Clovis area
media outlets including newspapers television, and radio have been
contacted about this event.

Our goal is to have as much coverage by the media as possible. After all,
the goal is the same for the sponsors. Last year, the event was covered by
all four of Fresno’s major television networks, as was the pre-meet press
conference. We feel that the extensive coverage we have received in the
past will continue to benefit and promote the sponsors as well as the event
itself.

Fresno State and Mt. SAC have a long –standing friendship with many
Olympians and world class athletes. At a later date, the past Olympians and
world class athletes scheduled to appear or compete in the competition will
be announced in a press release to help promote the event.

During the competition, there will be a number of giveaways of various
items awarded to members of the crowd, including t-shirts bearing the
sponsor names as well as gift certificates and smaller items. Items that
sponsors wish to give away will also be given out to the crowd throughout
the evening’s competition.

Free Programs will be handed out to all spectators, meaning your
company’s as will reach its maximum potential at the event. We are
expecting at least 8,000 spectators to attend this event. The program will
contain information about the event as well advertising for all sponsors of
the North American Pole Vault Championships.

                                                                              8
