          • Thanks for the PI data from 8/31/2000. As a result of
Pilgrim
            having this data I can clearly show that on 8/31/2000
            the HPCI system was operating as expected and
            would have performed it's safety function if required.
IPEC        On this date the system test was run. After the Labor
            Day Holiday during data review, a discovery was
            made that one part had failed. The necessary data to
            support system operability calls was no longer
JAF         available on the Plant Process Computer. We were at    
            risk for an unavailability hit of over 1000 hours on the
            HPCI performance indicator. However, since this data
            was available from PI, we only had to take a 12 hour
            "fault exposure" hit.
