2010 Convention Highlights Available online B y general consensus, the keynote addresses by Alexa Posny and Salome Thomas-EL at the NASP 2010 Annual Convention were simply terrific. Posny addressed convention attendees on “Including Your School Psy- chologists: A Better, Bolder Approach to Education” and Thomas-EL followed with “The Immortality of Influence: Believing Every Child Can Achieve Their Dreams.” The audience came away from both presentations with a new ap- preciation of their profession and renewed inspiration for the work that they do. One person wrote to Thomas-EL, saying, “Your speech reminded me of why I picked this field in the first place…. It was so great to hear an empower- ing speech from somebody in the field that has gone out there and done what I am hearing about, reading about, and writing about…. I hope to change even just one school for even just one child in the same way that you have.” The two keynote addresses are available for viewing at http://www.nasponline.org/ conventions/2010conventioninfo.aspx. Handouts from a large number of mini-skills, posters, special sessions, and Leigh armistead paper presentations have been posted on the NASP website at http://www.nasp online.org/conventions/2010conventionhandouts.aspx.
