9:15 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Optional guided group bus tour of historic plantations of the Ashley River
(Drayton Hall and Middleton Place). Luncheon Buffet in The Pavilion at Middleton Place. Cost: $150.00
per person based upon 24 guests. Separate advance reservations required.

        3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Registration in Mills Hotel Lobby.

6:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M Informal hosted cocktail reception in the home of John and Libby Winthrop.

Five blocks walk from Mills House. Attire: coat & tie

        9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Meeting of the John Quincy Adams Foundation. **

       A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Meeting of the Executive Council. **
       A.M. to 12:00 noon Registration outside the Meeting Room.

         1:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. Opening session of 114th General Court* Attire: coat & tie

9:15 A.M. to 12:00 noon Optional Guided tour to either The H.L. Hunley Submarine Conservation Center,
$35 or Fort Sumter National Monument and Charleston harbor Cruse, $45 (both based on 24 guests).
Separate advanced reservations required.

9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Ladies Program: Guided group tour of Historic Homes and Private gardens of Old
Charleston. A catered Luncheon for the Ladies in one of the private gardens is included.

6:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Cocktail Reception, Tour of the Old Exchange (DAR Museum and Dinner at The
Old Exchange Building and Provost Dungeon located at the East foot of Broad Street. Four block walk
from the hotel. Attire: coat & tie

    **    All meetings of the 114th General Court will be in the Meeting Room of the Mills House Hotel,
    144 Meeting Street, Charleston, South Carolina.

9:00 A.M. to 12:00 noon Ladies on their own for shopping or optional guided walking tour of
Charleston. $15 per person.

11:45 A.M. Official photograph of 114th General Court (specific location TBA). Attire: coat & tie

12:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.        Optional Guided bus tour to Historic Fort Moultrie (pickup in front of
hotel at 12:15 P.M.; bus leaves promptly at 12:30 P.M.). Includes box lunch, liquid refreshments in
route and entrance to the fort. $45 per person. Limited to 55.

6:15 P.M. to 10:15 P.M.        Governor General’s Reception and Banquet, Carolina Yacht Club, 50 East
Bay Street. Transportation will begin leaving from the Mills House Main Entrance at 6:00 P.M.

7:15 P.M. Procession of State Flags of all State Societies attending the General Court.

7:30 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. Banquet in Ball Room of the Carolina Yacht Club; dance band. Attire:
white or black tie, with decorations.

9:00 A.M. Church service at The Old French Huguenot Church, 44 Queen Street. Those who wish to
walk the four blocks to the church may do so (as a group or otherwise). Those who wish to share taxis
to the church may take that option. Attire: coat & tie.
  Early Bird (if received by 31 December 2009):           $345 per person
  Regular (if received by 1 March 2010):                  $365 per person
  Late (if received after 1 March 2010):                  $385 per person

 Reservations can be made anytime online at www.millshouse.com or call 1(800) 874-9600. Ask for
 the “Founders & Patriots” special rate. The special rate is available for Associates and their familes
 from 26 May 2010 (Wednesday night) through 29 May 2010 (Saturday night, departing Sunday
 morning). Early reservations are advised.

 Special Rate (if reserved by 22 April 2010): $199 per night

If you wish to speak to someone on hotel property, ask for Latoya or Mary Monday through Friday
9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. If you have a special request such as arriving a day or two early, a special
room type or anything else unusual, speak with Mary or Latoya.

An optional tour to Fort Moultrie is available on Saturday May 28 from 12:30 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. The
fee includes a box lunch, refreshments in route and a private lecture tour of the present and original
fort site.

Rate (if received by 1 March 2010) $35 per person (space limited to 55 guests)
