Music Teachers’ Association of California Young Artist Guild Letter of Intent If selected to become a member of the Young Artist Guild, I agree to perform the following number of concerts during the 5 years that I am a member of YAG: During my high school years: at least 3 concerts, if requested. During my college years: at least 2 concerts each year I am in college, if requested. I agree to continue studying my instrument or voice with a teacher during the 5 years I am a member of the Young Artist Guild. I understand that if I do not fulfill the above requirements, I will forfeit my membership in the Young Artist Guild. This should include your college major and music study plans. Name college or university you will attend, or hope to attend. Bring three copies of this Letter of Intent to the Regional Auditions. If selected to go on to Panel Finals, these copies will be sent to the State Panel Chair. If the performer is selected to become a Young Artist Guild Member, the Panel Chair will forward copies of the Letter of Intent to the YAG Chair, and the teacher.
