Step 1: Click on a favorite pattern in the format you prefer (.doc or .jpg). The .doc files will open as Word documents. Select the paper size you want to print in the print driver. If you want to print 12" x 12" you will need a wide format printer such as the Epson Stylus Photo 1280, 2200, R1800 (for 12" x 12" edge-to-edge printing), and 12" x 12" PremierArt™ Matte Scrapbook Photo Paper for Epson. Step 2: After you click “Print”, click on “Yes” to continue printing even though the margins are set outside the printable area of the page. The printer will adjust to fill the size you have selected.
Army Scrapbook Pages:
You have a choice of file formats to pick from. • If you’re going to use Microsoft® Word to make these projects, download the files that end with “.doc”. • If you’re going to use Adobe® Photoshop® or Adobe® Photoshop® Elements, download the files that end with “.jpg”. Step 1: Choose your desired template by clicking on the selected file format you plan to use (“.doc” or “jpg”). The following steps are for use with the Microsoft® Word documents.
Note: In order to print the 12" x 12" size page, you will need to use a wide format printer, such as the Epson Stylus Photo 1280, R1800 (for 12" x 12" edge-to-edge printing), or 2200, and 12" x 12" PremierArt™ Matte Scrapbook Photo Paper for Epson.
Step 2: Add your customized text in the heading area by highlighting the area marked “Type your heading here.” Note that once the text is highlighted, you can type your personalized message in the font style, size and color of your choice. For simplicity, you can use the style, size and color provided. Step 3: Insert your photos. To insert your photos: Insert photo from file or CD. Select photo by clicking on it. Under “Format” select “Format Picture”. Select the “Layout” tab, then select “In front of text”. This will cause your photo to be in front of any text or graphic in your layout. Use the “corner grippers” to resize the photo, and click and drag the photo to the appropriate spot in your layout. Crop your photo if necessary. To crop a photo, select the photo, go to the Picture Toolbar and click on the cropping tool. Drag the handle to where you’d like the photo to end. Step 4: Now click on the photo caption area, as marked with “photo caption.” As with the header, you can also change the font style, size and color of the text. Add the year by highlighting the area marked {00}. Type in the year the photos were taken. Step 5: Your personalizing is complete! Print your pages. Remember to choose the correct paper size and paper type setting in your printer driver. Step 6: Embellish your pages if desired.
Note: For maximum archivability, we recommend printing your pages onto PremierArt Matte Scrapbook Photo Paper for Epson. Printed with Epson inks and stored in an album, your pages will last up to 200 years, so that all of your efforts can be enjoyed for generations to come.
