CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
All entrants must conduct themselves in a safe and orderly manner. Entrants are liable for any damages to the building, its surrounds or other
entrants/trade stands property. The organisers will not be held liable for any loss, theft or damage to vehicles or goods. The organisers reserve the
right to cancel or refuse entry to any vehicle or person/s into the event where in their opinion the entrant has displayed unacceptable behaviour or
exposed the event to disrepute. Entrants must be conversant with the rules of the A.S.R.F. and the regulations of the Promoter and agree to be
bound by them. Entrants must understand that the promoter reserves the right to refuse entry without necessarily assigning a reason.

  This show is open to all Hot Rods, Customs, Street Machines, Competition Vehicles,
                     Motor Bikes, Mini Rods and Low-rider Cycles.

TROPHIES, MERCHANDISE AND PRIZE MONEY:
Trophies, merchandise and prize money to an approximate value of $45,000 will be distributed among entrants. The
time, date and relevant details regarding trophy presentations will be given in a later advice sheet.

AUSTRALIA’S COOLEST RIDE:
The winner of Australia’s Coolest Ride Trophy will receive a SUPER prize to the value of $3500.00

CLUB STAND AWARDS:
Club stand awards will be presented as follows:-

Note: To be eligible for this award the club stands must meet the minimum requirements as set by the Promoter. In
the event of club stands not meeting the minimum standards, Australian Street Rod Federation Stewards may rule no

Note: To be eligible for the individual display awards stands must meet the minimum requirements as set by
the promoter.

ENTRY FEE:
Completed entry form, entry fee and current photo of the vehicle are to be forwarded to the Show Manager, VHRA Ltd.
P.O. Box 34, Oakleigh Victoria, 3166. Entry fees are no longer refundable as per the A.S.R.F rule book.

JUDGING FEE:
A judging fee of $25.00 must be paid in addition to the entry fee if you wish to have your car judged, although all
entrants will be eligible for stand display prizes.

CLOSURE OF ENTRIES:

Entries close with the last mail 30 November 2008. Entries received post marked after this date will be treated as late
entries. The late entry fee will be an additional fee of $50.00 and late entry fees will not be refunded. Please Note:
These dates and fees will be strictly enforced.

PHOTOGRAPHS:
A current photograph of reasonable quality must accompany each entry. Please note that photographs will not be
returned and the Show Promoters reserve the right to use the photographs as they require.

SUBSTITUTE VEHICLES ON CLUB STANDS ONLY

Cars on club stands may be substituted by other club cars up to 9 January 2008. After 9 January any substitute will
pay the late entry deposit of $50.00. Substitute vehicles for club stands will only be accepted providing the number of

entries on the relevant club stand have been entered and paid for by the closing date of 30 November 2008. The
VHRA must be notified in writing of substitute vehicles and be accompanied by an official entry form, relevant
deposit and a current photograph.

STAND PRESENTATION:
Individual and club stand presentation must meet the minimum requirements set by the promoter. Full details of type of
material, etc. are available upon request from the Victorian Hot Rod Association Show Committee. This also includes
full utilization of requested stand space by individuals or clubs, i.e. full number of originally entered vehicles. Any
dispute regarding a club or individual stand not meeting the required standard or correct number of vehicles will be
mediated by a joint committee from the Australian Street Rod Federation Stewards and the Victorian Hot Rod
Association Show Committee. Boundary fences or back drops on all stand sites other than wall sites must not exceed
one metre in height. Should the design of your stand necessitate the use of a higher boundary fence or backdrop
written permission must be obtained from the Victoria Hot Rod Association Show Committee.

WITHDRAWALS:

Any person wishing to withdraw an entry should do so in writing and if received prior to 31 December 2008 the entry
fee will be refunded at the conclusion of the Show less 10% of the entry fee for administration costs. Any cancellation
after this date and prior to the Show will incur a penalty of 60% of the entry fee.

STAND SIZES:
Club stand application forms may be obtained by writing or phoning the V.H.R.A. Ltd. Offices. Club stand sizes are
available in widths of 12m and in multiples of 3m in length (e.g.: 12m x 9m). Requests for club stand sites must be
accompanied by the relevant entry fees. Sites will not be reserved unless entry fees accompany the application for
space. Individual Stands will be standard sizes of 4.5m x 4.5m, 5m x 4.5m or 6m x 4.5m (depending upon site
allocation). Should any entrant wish a non-standard size stand, the entrant must mark the entry form accordingly and
await confirmation from the Show Manager that this size stand has been approved and allocated.

CLASSIFICATION:
Upon arrival a security guard will attach a sticker to your vehicle. You should then report to the ASRF Steward for
classification. NOTE: Classification of vehicles are set and laid out in the ASRF Rule Book -
CLASSIFICATIONS ARE SET BY THE ASRF AND NOT THE PROMOTER.
PROOF OF REGISTRATION MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION and after
classification; you will be directed to your stand site.

RULES, REGULATIONS AND CLASSIFICATIONS:

All rules, specifications and classifications pertaining to the 44 Victorian Hot Rod Show are laid out in the Australian
Street Rod Federation Handbook. Enquiries regarding this handbook should be made to the Victorian Divisional
Council, 2 Grace St, Mooroolbark Vic. 3138. Attention Mr. T. Bakker.

REJECTION OF ENTRY:
The Victorian Hot Rod Association retains the right to reject any entry without assigning a reason and the entry fee will
be refunded at the conclusion of the Show.

CARS FOR SALE:
The Victorian Hot Rod Association will provide the only ‘FOR SALE’ signs to be used in the Victorian Hot Rod Show.
The owner will be required to fill in a ‘for sale fact sheet’ that our Show Office will be able to photocopy and supply to
prospective buyers. This service will be provided at an additional cost of $25.00. The VHRA reserves the right to reject
any ‘FOR SALE’ car.

(03) 95682246 and leaving a message on the answering machine. A member of the Show Committee will answer your
message within 48 hours. Show meetings will be held at the VHRA Ltd. Clubrooms every Wednesday fortnight
