Emmy Nominated Choreographer Shane Sparks is one of the most talented and sought after choreographers working in the entertainment industry today. He is known all over the world for his very sexy and groundbreaking choreography which has made him a favorite choreographer to chart topping recording artists Lindsay Lohan, Omarion, B2K, Corbin Blu and Marques Houston. Shane puts his heart into every dance step and that has translated into some of the most memorable dance performances of the last decade earning Shane a worldwide following of devoted fans and a spot on two of the most popular dance shows on television. Currently, Shane continues to star as a judge on the hit MTV series "Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew”, executive produced by the “American Idol” judge which is in its second season. This hot reality TV show is the first of its kind, showing off the best dance crews in America. Each week Shane offers the dance crews his encouragement, constructive criticism and wealth of experience as viewers get to vote for their favorite dance crew. Shane can also be seen choreographing the contestants for the 4th season in a row on the hit FOX TV show “So You Think You Can Dance” where he has been nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Choreography in 2008. Viewers tune in to see his signature moves and America votes for their favorite dancer.

Shane’s choreography can also be seen in the box office smash “You Got Served” which earned him the “2005 BET Award” for choreography and the 2004 American Choreography Award for “Best Choreography in a Feature Film.” In addition to choreographing videos, live performances and special events for some of today’s most successful artists, he also been judging the World Hip Hop Championships since 2004 and has choreographed promos for ESPN. Shane choreographed incredible dance numbers for the 2004 MTV Movie Awards, the 2005 BET Awards and 2006 Soul Train Awards. Shane can be seen next hosting “The 10 hottest dance videos of all time” with the Jabbawockeez on MTV and in the new print campaign for Just For Kix dancewear line. Due to Shane’s impressive body of work, he was part of an all-star line up of the country’s leading choreographers in a seven-city national tour called “The Pulse.” The two-day jazz and hip hop dance workshop hosted by Broadway Dance Center NY featured a line-up of the dance world’s most esteemed choreographers including: Shane Sparks, Brian Friedman, Mia Michaels, Cris Judd, Laurie Ann Gibson and Wade Robson. The quickly growing celebrity of these acclaimed choreographers resulted in a breakthrough sold out status of 900 attendees.

During the summer of 2007, Shane was involved with Secret Deodorant’s national “Because You’re Hot” campaign with Jennifer Lopez searching for the hottest young female dance who got to star in a new J-Lo music video. This Summer Shane will be choreographing the new Disney film “The Jump Off”, and in the Fall Shane will be choreographing the Broadway musical “DREAMGIRLS” bringing his flavor to the stage and to theatergoers around the world. Shane is also in the process of developing and producing a choreographybased reality TV show, his own dancewear, athletic wear and sneaker brands and a hot new video game. Shane Sparks is a dance icon and revolutionary choreographer recognized across the globe for his talent, determination, passion and contribution to the world of dance. Shane’s star will continue to rise as he presents his signature style of dance to the world through many creative and interactive mediums.
