Music Lesson Grade Level- senior high school/upper junior high school Activity- this is a class long lesson (5o minutes) about music. Warm up- play the song Three little birds by Bob Marley. Students listen and answer questions about the song. Lesson: Students are in groups of 3-4. Each group has a recorder and 2-3 runners. Before class, put the missing lyrics around the room, hidden behind doors, etc. Runners will find the lyrics but they CANNOT move them. They must go back and tell the recorder what the lyrics are. After finding them, turn the song on repeat. Students will listen and fill in where the lyrics fit in the song. Writing: I do a writing activity at the end of every class. I give students 5-10 minutes to write on a topic.
