Hi, I’m Chris Muller, the coordinator for the Rosen School of Hospitality Management’s
annual Spring Seminar Series.
The University of Central Florida, UCF, has been offering Executive Education courses
for the restaurant and hospitality industry for many years. Our Spring Seminars, started
in the May of 2000, have been focused specifically on the needs of managers in the
multi-unit restaurant segment.
Since those first few courses were offered, hundreds of managers from every continent
around the world have come to Orlando to experience the learning, share their ideas, and
find new ways of thinking about their businesses, and yours. Each year we have
expanded our program, with additional seminars organized to address the needs of our
rapidly changing business environment.
We believe that whether you are looking for an incentive program for your high
achieving unit managers ready for promotion, or for a senior level seminar for your top
executives, we have a course designed for your company needs.
We offer five-day programs for total immersion in a single area, or specialized, intensive
two-day courses that address a single topic of importance to your management team.
Courses are available in the areas of: Operations; Marketing and Branding; Leadership
and Management; and Accounting, Finance and Design, all taught by some of the best
known experts in their respective fields. These offerings are designed so that you can
mix and match a program tailored to each individual’s specific training and development
Please look at this year’s course list on our CD, you can visit our website, or we would be
pleased to send you a printed brochure. Information about the location for the Seminar
program, lodging options, and the Rosen School—the fastest growing hospitality
program in the US— are also presented here.
I am confident that the Rosen School Seminars represent the most comprehensive set of
management seminars for the restaurant industry available today.
We like to use the industry saying, “Hire for Attitude, Train for Skill, Educate for
Vision”. I invite you to broaden the Vision of your company, your managers, and
yourself this year by participating in our Spring Seminars. Welcome.
