Specialised training in recognising criminal and terrorist intent
ISPS TRAINING
COURSE AIM
This course enables personnel to identify the characteristics of criminals
and terrorists through behavioural pattern recognition. Its aim is to identify
people who intend to commit terrorist or criminal acts, or who are gathering
intelligence in preparation for carrying out such acts.
By learning how to recognise particular behavioural traits, BPR-trained
individuals have the ability to make rapid assessments of the threat and
situation and then decide what action to take.
BPR has been used successfully in Europe, USA and Israel, helping to
reducing the threat of suicide bombings, sabotage, theft, smuggling and
other forms of crime.

Security specialists who work in:
• Passenger Terminals
• Landmark locations
• Roadblocks and checkpoints
• Sporting events
• Police work
• Terminal Staff, Police, Guards, Port Facility Security Officers and
Company and Ship Security Officers.
COURSE CONTENT
The 5 day training programme, draws on knowledge and experience gained
over many years in some of the most high risk areas.
Developed by New Age Security Systems Inc., The course covers:
a) The need for vigilance and a general understanding of what motivates
criminals and terrorists.
b) Modules configured specifically for the client’s facilities, vessels and
operations.
Trainees will benefit by learning established practices and procedures. These
will provide them with the skills required to use existing resources to deal
effectively with new and evolving threats.

training
