The Schedule Baseline is a form that project managers can use to create a project schedule. A schedule baseline is a specific version of a schedule model used to analyze actual results in order to determine if preventive or corrective action is needed to meet the project's objectives. The baseline activities should have exact start and end dates and project managers can also include a milestone list. Project managers should use this tool to help budget time and efficiently allocate resources.
