									This document sets forth the policies and guidelines of a company providing and
implementing equal employment opportunities for all employees and prospective
employees. This form states the company's policy, for example that an employee who
is involved in discriminatory activities will be subject to termination. This form should be
used by company management or the human resources department to set forth an
equal employment opportunity policy at a company. This is an important provision for
an employer to have posted and included in an employee handbook.
Equal Employment Opportunity Policy
Purpose:

The following represents the Equal Opportunity Policy for (Company Name). The
document outlines our policies on equal opportunity, the roles of the managers and
supervisors and grievance procedures.

Equal Opportunity Policy:

(Company Name) is an equal opportunity employer. As such, every employee is treated
on their merits, without regard to age, sex, relationship status, national origin, veteran
status, political affiliation or belief, marital status and disability.

This policy applies to hiring, but also includes affirmative action with regards to salary,
promotion or placement, and termination.

All executive and management employees have the responsibility to promote and further
the policy and ensure adherence to the policy by all subordinates.

Any employee in a managerial or supervisory role who knows a discriminatory action is
taking place and fails to remedy it by taking immediate and appropriate action will also
be subject to disciplinary action.

Any employee who is involved in discriminatory activities will be subject to termination.

Any employee who believes they have been the victim of discriminatory practices is
encouraged to contact the Human Resource Department.

The Human Resource Department is required to investigate every claim.

The employee accused of discriminatory behavior may be suspended pending the
investigation.
