                                                                                                                                                                                            it’s hard to find time to R&D and test, but when you
                                                                                                                                                                                            take a break from competition, like we’re doing in
                                                                                                                                                                                            July, it gives us the opportunity to step back, analyze
                                                                                                                                                                                            the situation, and get a lot of testing done. We want
                                                                                                                                                                to come back out to Brainerd and be a major contender.
                                                                                                                                                                   I eat, breathe, and sleep drag racing, and I have a great group of guys who
                                                                                                                                                                feel the same. My crew chief, Frank “the Flying Meatball” Gugliotta, is by far
                                                                                                                                                                one of the best out there; he may be short, but he thinks big. He gives us a great
                                                                                                                                                                race car that I know will go from A to B every time; no need to ever second-
                                                                                                                                                                guess him. By the way, happy 50th birthday, “Meatball.” Brandon Beaver is one
