The author is delighted to report that following this year's Annual General Meeting, the proposed changes to their Memorandum and Articles of Association were passed. A notable change is that Philip King, their dynamic Director General, is now known as Chief Executive. Philip came to the role promising a much higher profile for the Institute, and since that time the ICM has received a significant amount of engagement with government and vastly increased coverage from the UK's media. Earlier in June the author was lucky enough to speak at the breakfast meeting of the Thames Valley Branch. The meeting was well organized and a good number of attendees made the trip to hear his presentation on the latest debt collection issues.
